Halloween

Halloween was a great day! We dressed up in our costumes and had a fabulous party. Thank you to all the moms who helped out!

The Gingerbread Man

This past week we've been reading and talking a lot about the Gingerbread Man. We read and retold the story many times and have a poem about it too. On Thursday we made gingerbread cookies. They were delicious! The whole school smelled like gingerbread!

Our First Snowy Day

Our first snowy day at school was fun! The kids loved putting on all their gear to go play in the snow. They ate it, threw it, and made snow angels. The firemen also came that day. We learned a lot about their trucks.

Fancy Pumpkins

The kids got to decorate the pumpkins that they chose at the pumpkin patch. They were so creative with their colors and all the glitter. They turned out very nice.

Field Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

Before Halloween we took a class field trip to the Pumpkin Patch right around the corner. It was a lovely day so we walked with the help of some of the moms. We had a lot of fun! Everyone got to choose one pumpkin to take back to the class to decorate. The Pumpkin Lady was very nice and read us a story and sang some songs with the kids.

 Showing off our pumpkins!

We got to play on a new playground...
 and play in forts!
